Casey Howe

Casey Howe

Co-Founder - Strategy and Operations Architect

Casey entered the PEO and HCM industry as an application support specialist with no industry background and no roadmap. Fifteen years later she has held every seat in the org across every discipline: payroll specialist, team lead, implementation manager, director across operations, payroll tax, business transformation, and technology, and VP of Product and Technology. At every stage she wasn't just filling a role. She was rebuilding it, expanding it, and creating new ones that didn't exist before she arrived.

She has designed and led the simultaneous migration of 400+ PEO and service bureau clients to UKG Ready across all 50 states and Puerto Rico, with payroll and HCM operations for more than 10,000 employees running through her hands in the process. Her platform experience spans UKG Ready, ADP Workforce Now, Asure Evolution, Lawson, Sage Intacct, MasterTax, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics 365, including the enterprise migration from Evolution to UKG Ready. She has architected UKG Ready for PEO operations including model company setup, co-employment workflow design, benefits carrier integration, tax configuration, and dual-model environments where a PEO and a service bureau run on the same platform without colliding. She rebuilt a payroll tax department from scratch, optimizing MasterTax operations and standing up the compliance reviews, multi-state filing workflows, and procedures that turned a failing function into a scalable operation. She has deployed Salesforce across an entire organization, built three departments from concept to operating function, and served as ERISA fiduciary on a Multiple Employer Plan 401(k). She is a recognized industry speaker and subject matter expert in UKG Ready architecture, PEO operations, and enterprise transformation.

Her approach is non-negotiable. She doesn't tell you how it's done. She shows you, because she's already lived it. She gets in it with you and your teams, working alongside you, not above you. No blueprint. No shortcuts. Fifteen years of figuring it out, applied directly to your problem.

Chase Howe

Chase Howe ★ U.S. Army Veteran

Co-Founder - Infrastructure and Technology Architect

Chase's career runs on two parallel tracks. In the U.S. Army National Guard he came up in Aviation, specifically Unmanned Systems, qualifying on 7 unmanned aircraft platforms, logging 2,500 flight hours with 1,500 of those instructing, and serving as the standing test, verification, and validation point of contact on every program he touched. He didn't just operate the platform. He worked on it, taught it, and wrote the standardization that kept it consistent. Concurrently he built a commercial aerospace systems engineering career, owning the requirements baseline and MBSE source of truth across multi-program embedded systems, engineering hardware and software integrations under high-stakes conditions, and leading 65-person cross-functional teams across global deployments. The platforms changed. The discipline didn't.

That same standard translates directly into the PEO and HCM world, where most failures happen in the gap between what the business needs and what the technology actually does. As Director of IT and Operations Manager at DelMar Aerospace he ran network architecture across international deployments and standardized the data management and reporting workflows that had previously run on manual entry. At Parry Labs he built and ran the training and standardization track for incoming engineers, applying the same operate, work on, teach, standardize pattern to a different platform. He builds automation where the platform leaves gaps. That includes computer vision and workflow capture pipelines that turn live operator workflows into structured data engineering and configuration teams can act on, plus SOP development that turns repeatable processes into standardized, automatable workflows. He brings disciplined HIPAA-compliant data handling, certified device clearing, and the audit trail documentation compliance environments require. Applied to UKG Ready architecture, payroll tax compliance, and operational standardization, that combined background is a differentiator clients feel immediately.

His advantage in a transformation is that he can see the whole web without getting caught in any one part of it. He stays close enough to the end user to represent them in the room, learns directly from the SMEs who run the system, and translates what they actually do into requirements that hold up under verification. He doesn't take knowledge second hand. He doesn't deliver systems he wouldn't bet his own reputation on, and he never has.

The Combination

Why this pairing is rare.

Most consulting firms are good at strategy or good at execution. We were built around the unusual fact that we are good at both — and that one half of us has lived inside the PEO and HCM industry for fifteen years while the other half has spent a career making complex hardware and software actually work in the real world.

Operational depth from the inside

Casey didn't consult on PEO operations from a distance. She built and ran them. She knows where the platform configurations break, where the manual workarounds hide, and where the real bottlenecks are — because she's been the one fixing them.

Engineering rigor from a zero-defect world

Chase came up in environments where ambiguity gets people killed. He brings that standard to commercial integrations, requirements decomposition, and validation. Clients feel the difference within the first engagement.

Translation across the gap

Most engagements fail in the space between what the business needs and what the technology can do. We live in that gap. Casey speaks the operational language. Chase speaks the technical one. The translation is built into how we work.

Scale is not a story we tell — it's where we operate

400+ simultaneous client migrations. 65-person global cross-functional teams. 10+ departments built from scratch. Most consulting firms describe scale. We've already operated at it.
